Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Stool 1953
Beautiful and iconic stool from the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. Guests at the event were gifted the stools to take home as a memento of the day.
The stool is made of limed oak with webbing to support the seat, which is covered in the original dusty blue velvet and trimmed in gold. Some light marks consistent with age but in overall excellent condition. Made in Scotland.
